In this in-depth training programme you will learn all beginner, intermediate and advanced exercises on all equipment such as the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, High Chair, Barrels, Ped-o-Pull...
We also look at how best to teach and/or adapt these exercises to clients with specific needs (back and neck pain, knee problems, pregnancy etc...).
The Comprehensive training consists of 3 parts:
- level 1 - beginner system
- level 2 - intermediate system
- level 3 - advanced system
After completing this course you will be a fully fledged Classical Pilates instructor able to teach both the mat and apparatus exercises to clients of all levels, ages and abilities (both privately and in groups).
This course requires an intermediate level of Pilates practice, motivation, dedication and a serious investment of time and effort to complete. It can be the starting point of a Pilates career, so to successfully pass the final assessment a professional level is expected.
The Comprehensive training can be given in a flexible time schedule in consultation with the student. You can register for the 3 levels separately or opt for the full Comprehensive immediately.
During the training there is a training period of:
- level 1 - beginner system - 150h internship
- level 2 - intermediate system - 250h internship
- level 3 - advanced system - 150h internship
The internship period includes: following lessons, observing and assisting with lessons, and teaching classes yourself. For each level there will be a practical and a theoretical exam. A certificate is issued after passing an exam.
For whom?
The candidate for this course must meet the following requirements:
- mastery of at least all intermediate exercises on all apparatuses (min. 75 hours of lessons)
- Pass an evaluation (assessment) in which we test if you know the order of the exercises, the transitions, spring settings, etc...
Where do we train?
The training days and internship lessons will be held in Antwerp.
